1. Overview

EngageFinder is a WordPress plugin designed to help you discover X (formerly Twitter) users and posts relevant to your target audience.
It is useful for audience research, follower growth, and marketing strategy planning.

Main features:

• Search users by keyword and language

• Filter results by follower count, activity level, etc.

• Export search results to CSV

• Build marketing lists from target users

2. Installation

1. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New

2. Click Upload Plugin

3. Upload engagefinder.zip

4. After installation, click Activate

3. Initial Setup

After activation, a new menu item Engage Finder will appear. Configure the following:

• API Keys (required)

  • API Key

  • API Secret Key

  • Access Token

  • Access Token Secret

• Search Settings

  • Language (e.g., ja for Japanese, en for English)

  • Number of results (limited by account tier)

  • Output format (on-screen or CSV)

4. Basic Usage

4.1 User Search

1. Go to Engage Finder in the admin panel

2. Enter a keyword (e.g., “side hustle”, “AI”, “investment”)

3. Select the language (e.g., ja)

4. Set the number of results (e.g., 100)

5. Click Search

👉 The result list will display:

• Username

• Follower count

• Latest tweet

• Language

4.2 CSV Export

• Click Export to CSV to download the search results

• Use this for marketing campaigns or audience targeting

4.3 Filtering Options

From the search results list, you can filter by:

• Follower count (high → low, or low → high)

• Active users (posted within the last 7 days)

• Language filter

• Build Target Lists
  Export CSV files for outreach or targeted marketing

• KeywordAutoWriter Integration
  Use trending keywords found in EngageFinder to generate articles

• Multi-language Strategy
  Run searches in both Japanese and English to target global audiences

6. Troubleshooting

• No results returned → Try broader/narrower keywords or increase result count

• Language filter not working → Due to X API limitations, English users may appear even with ja filter

• API limit errors → Free API accounts have strict search limits; consider upgrading for commercial use
